Streets of power
The propaganda of the Roman rulers through the imposing architecture, from the imperial fora to the historical buildings of the papal heydays. A 3 hours walk, starting from the Quirinal hill , the official and current Presidential Residence and former summer residence of the Popes, to Piazza di Trevi and its famous fountain opposite from which you find the most important church of the Papacy housing the Popes' precordiums. Then Montecitorio hill, transformed after the unification of Italy into the seat of the political power where the Parliament and other historical Government buildings dwell making up one of Rome’s most beautiful piazzas. After which, the imposing Piazza Venezia, the first representative " piazza" of Rome, capital of Italy. The tour will end at the Imperial Fora and Capitol the center of the Roman Empire.
